Introduction

The Department of VIP Medicine (VIP Ward) is a comprehensive division of medical center in Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, dedicated to offering premium medical services, preventive healthcare, and rehabilitation for patients seeking VIP care. 

Located on the 19th floor of the Outpatient Building, the department features 17 standard rooms and 1 suite, totaling 35 beds. The medical floor boasts an elegant environment with natural sunlight and a delightful atmosphere, prioritizing comfort and privacy for patients.

Catering to both surgical and non-surgical patients across various specialties including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, and more, the department also serves high-end physical examination customers, providing specialized services.

Led by a director with extensive experience in internal medicine, our team comprises experienced attending physicians skilled in general practice, proficient in diagnosis and treatment.

We have direct access to various channels for special examinations, group consultations, treatments, and surgeries, ensuring a swift and convenient process overall.

Additionally, we leverage our capabilities and expertise to provide medical consultation from all departments within the hospital. When necessary, we can arrange group consultations with experts from other hospitals in Shanghai.

Following hotel standards, each room contains 2 single beds with an option for 2 additional beds to accommodate family members. Rooms can also be made private based on the patient's needs.

Apart from VIP ward expenses, treatment and care costs, examination, treatment and surgery expenses are consistent with those in regular medical wards. 

We accept both domestic commercial medical insurance and international medical insurance, as well as direct cash payments.

Upon admission, we gather the patient's medical history and conduct a thorough physical examination, assessing risk factors for critical illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases and tumors. Customized examination plans are created, and examination and treatment protocols are dynamically adjusted based on the results.

We offer health management services for discharged patients, ensuring long-term follow-up care.
