Introduction

The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital has a long-standing history and is an essential component of the hospital’s "Heart Center", authorized to confer master's degrees. The department features a standard ward, an ICU inpatient area, several Class-100 purified operating rooms, and a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room. Additionally, there are ICU wards equipped with advanced medical devices such as ECMO and IABP. Every member of the cardiovascular surgery team holds either a Doctoral or Master's Degree. Currently, led by cardiovascular specialist Li Feng, the team prioritizes patient-centric care,  emphasizing medical quality and safety while featuring precision surgical treatment and minimally invasive cardiac surgery. The department is dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for various cardiovascular diseases.
