Our hospital embarked on its postgraduate education journey in 1985 with the enrollment of its first master's candidate, specializing in biomedical engineering-ultrasound diagnosis at Shanghai Second Medical University under the guidance of Professor Zhou Yongchang.

Our hospital has long been entrusted as the teaching hospital for the clinical medicine majors of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Our commitment to the principle that "undergraduate teaching forms the bedrock of medical education" underscores our dedication to nurturing morally upright future practitioners.

As a leader in residential and specialized training, our hospital proudly hosts 21 national residency training bases, 32 Shanghai specialized physician training bases, and 3 national specialized physician training bases. Annually, our programs cater to approximately 450 residents and 180 specialists.
