The 2024 Chinese Anesthesia Youth Forum and Regional Anesthesia Special Disease Database Construction Symposium, held at Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, marked a significant milestone in the academic landscape. Convened from March 23^rd to 24^th, this event marked the first significant academic gathering of the 14th Youth Group of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association’s Anesthesiology Branch, drawing a vast majority of its members. This year, coinciding with the 120th anniversary of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, the institution thrives with youthful vigor, and the youth forum stands as a fitting tribute to its spirited vitality.

Professor Yu Weifeng, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology, delivered an impassioned keynote address, sharing valuable growth experiences as the first Vice Chairman of the Youth Group. His enthusiasm resonated deeply with the audience, fostering strong connections among attendees and leaving an indelible mark on the conference's spirit.

Subsequent clinical and basic academic research sessions witnessed in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics and the latest research breakthroughs in anesthesiology, particularly the innovative integration of big data. With meticulous planning by the Organizing Committee, led by the Youth Group Committee, the two-day conference concluded as a resounding success.
