On the morning of April 25, a delegation from the Ministry of Health of Honduras, led by Minister Dr. Carla Marina Paredes Reyes, visited Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital. The visit focused on strengthening collaboration in medical services, China-made medical devices, orthopaedic care, and medical education. President Yin Shankai, together with members of the hospital leadership team, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and held discussions on potential areas of partnership.
The visit commenced with an introduction and exchange session, followed by a guided tour of the History Exhibition Hall, highlighting the hospital’s 121-year legacy.
The delegation then visited the Foot and Ankle Surgery inpatient ward at National Center for Orthopaedics, where they observed the integration of surgical care and rehabilitation in a comprehensive, patient-centered model.
The visit was supported by Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, and China Shanghai (Group) Corporation for Foreign Economic & Technological Cooperation.
