16th SJTU Medical Imaging Summit Forum and 2025 Advanced Seminar on Neurointervention and Neuroimaging Held in Shanghai

The 16th Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Imaging Summit Forum, the 2025 Advanced Seminar on Neurointervention and Neuroimaging, and the Annual Meeting of the Neurointervention Committee of Shanghai Association of Medical Institutions were successfully held in Shanghai from September 11 to 13.

Co-hosted by Shanghai Society of Biomedical Engineering and Shanghai Association of Medical Institutions, and organized by Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital, the event gathered more than 200 leading experts in radiology, neurosurgery, and interventional medicine from across China.

Under the theme “Academic Leadership, Innovation-Driven, and Clinical Transformation,” the forum featured keynote speeches, case discussions, and multidisciplinary panels exploring advances in neuroimaging, neurointervention, and clinical technology integration.

At the opening ceremony, Prof. Li Minghua, Lifetime Honorary Professor of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital, delivered congratulatory remarks. Prof. Zheng Yuanyi, Vice President of the hospital, emphasized the transformative role of neurointervention in cerebrovascular care. Prof. Li Yuehua, Conference Chair and recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, highlighted the forum’s role as a bridge between academic innovation and clinical application. The three-day event provided a high-level platform for sharing new research and fostering collaboration across disciplines, marking another milestone in the advancement of neuroimaging and neurointerventional medicine in China.
