On the afternoon of February 12, 2025, Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital held its 2025 Administrative Work Conference and the 18th Session of the 9th Workers' Congress. The Administrative Work Conference, presided over by Ma Xin, Secretary of the Party Committee, was attended by over 400 representatives.

The meeting began with the screening of a video summarizing the administrative achievements in 2024, highlighting progress in areas such as medical services, education, scientific research, and modern management. The video served as a tribute to the dedication and hard work of the hospital staff, showcasing their collective contributions to the hospital’s successes.

Following the video, President Yin Shankai delivered a detailed report on the hospital’s administrative goals for 2025. He outlined key initiatives in medical services, discipline development, scientific innovation, medical education, modern management, and the development of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital medical consortium. President Yin emphasized the importance of aligning with the hospital’s long-term development plan, fostering a culture of innovation, and working toward the creation of an integrated, intelligent, and high-quality health service system. He also reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to supporting the Healthy China and Healthy Shanghai initiatives.

The 18th Session of the 9th Workers’ Congress, chaired by Fan Lihong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Workers’ Union, involved face-to-face discussions between the leadership and the representatives. The representatives engaged in constructive dialogue about the hospital’s 2024 achievements and 2025 goals, offering valuable feedback and suggestions.

In his closing remarks, Secretary Ma Xin praised the exceptional contributions made by all staff over the past year. He called for a unified effort to embrace the hospital’s strategic direction for 2025, urging everyone to face the challenges ahead with confidence, determination, and perseverance, and to work collaboratively toward an even more successful year.
