Clinical Translational Results
A total of 53 male patients with anterior urethral stricture were treated with urethral substitution plasty using porcine small intestine submucosa and poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) nanofibrous membranes, with a success rate of more than 80%, which is comparable to that of autologous tissues, and achieved excellent clinical medical results while avoiding the complications of autologous tissue transplantation, and the related results have been published in high-level journals.
